THE CHALLENGE
Majid Al Futtaim's City Centre malls receive millions of visitors. The footfall numbers are extraordinary. But footfall is anonymous — it tells you how many people came, not who they are, what they want, or how to reach them again. To build personalised retail experiences and targeted marketing at scale, MAF needed a digital system that could bridge the gap between physical visit and individual consumer identity — without adding friction to the shopping experience.
THE OUTCOME
MAF gained the digital infrastructure to transform anonymous mall traffic into actionable consumer intelligence. The app created a data layer beneath the physical shopping experience — enabling targeted marketing, loyalty activation, and personalised retail at the scale of a major shopping empire.
